PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT for the State of Texas:
oh em gee you guys. Consider yourselves lucky that I don’t live closer.
(Thanks for making me hungry, Pam!)
File this under, “why didn’t I think of that?”
I can’t tell you how many times I have packed for a trip trying to remember ‘what 60* feels like’… (who am I kidding, or even 75*) so I wind up packing all the wrong articles of clothing and spend a large portion of the trip talking to myself, annoyed that I didn’t pack x, y, and z. Enter: Daily Dress Me. This is quite the handy site for travelers. Just type in the zip code and let the models show you what kinds of appropriate clothing you should be packing for the weather…. Automatic blog post so I remember to do this the next time I pack for a trip.
Thanks for the tip, LittleLaur!
Man, I love brussels sprouts.
I made this great brussels sprouts dish that I wanted to share but I had some trouble figuring out how to shoot it for this blog because of the monochrome coloring. So today you get this because I gave up:
It’s really delicious. You just have to trust me on this.
Funny thing is, you couldn’t PAY me to eat brussels sprouts as a kid and yet this recipe has me salivating.
Happy FAT TUESDAY!
@ Sundays & Cones, East Village
Hello, March. This month I will:
- Drink more water (kicking things off with orange and mint today - yum)
- Stick with the gym routine
- Keep a better track of my finances (i.e. cut back on the random unnecessary coffees, cookies and cabs)
- Give myself more time in the morning (!!) so I can actually enjoy my commute and therefore start off the day less rushed.
Seems tangible, right?
